At W1 Skin, our experienced team of clinicians delivers innovative regenerative treatments that promote natural, lasting rejuvenation. Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapy is an advanced procedure that builds on the benefits of PRP by providing a sustained release of growth factors—helping your skin and hair look healthier over time.

What is PRF?

PRF therapy harnesses platelets and fibrin—a protein scaffold that gradually releases growth factors to optimise healing and regeneration.

This slow-release mechanism enhances collagen production, supports tissue repair, and achieves visible improvements in skin texture, tone, and elasticity.

Because PRF uses your own blood without any additives, it is one of the most natural ways to trigger the body’s intrinsic healing response. Over a series of sessions, clients often see progressive, long-lasting rejuvenation that feels subtle and authentic.

How PRF Works

  • Step 1 – Blood Collection

A small amount (typically 15ml) of blood is drawn from your arm.

  • Step 2 - Centrifugation

The blood sample is spun in a specialized centrifuge, naturally separating the platelet-rich fibrin from other blood components without additives or anticoagulants.

  • Step 3 – Application

The extracted PRF, rich in platelets and fibrin, is then applied to targeted areas of the skin or scalp, supporting natural regeneration and repair.

Benefits of PRF

Enhanced Skin Renewal: Refines skin texture, reduces scarring, and encourages new collagen formation.

Improved Hydration and Radiance: Increases moisture retention, giving skin a luminous, healthy glow.

Softened Lines and Wrinkles: Smooths fine lines and helps improve the appearance of deeper folds.

Natural Hair Restoration: Promotes thicker, stronger hair in areas affected by thinning.

Sustained Rejuvenation: The fibrin network ensures a gradual, longer-lasting release of growth factors for ongoing improvement.
